I understand that Skill of the month is supposed to be competitive, but I played over 12 hours in a day and didn't even get 20% of the highest xp gain this month. Something isn't fair.

buy more bonus xp and you might stand a chance at closer to the top.
See, that just isn't fair. This is supposed to be a competition for who is willing to put more time and effort into the game, not who's willing to spend the most money.
aye, jagex has broken some of the fun of the competitions, but i never really took place in them anyways.
