Yeah. Definitely bring ruby and diamond bolts. Maybe a bgs if you want to lower his defence. Curses help. Bring a war tortoise full of brews and a spirit kyatt with ambush scrolls.
Also hide behind the pillars when he has his false images out and take the time to drop empty vials and prep your inventory, but when the images teleport run out to fight so that he doesn't disappear.
