As someone who has owned all of these weapons I can give you a run down on what is good.

BGS - Slow and a big fat waste of cash. I bought mine and was quite looking forward to using it, Did 1 slayer task, then went and sold it. Yes you hit high sometimes, but i found i was killing much faster using a whip. A godsword is really only useful to Pk with, GWD with, dueling etc etc

Sara Sword - If you can afford this, its the ultimate weapon for training strength with. Reading the posts someone said it was slow, thats just wrong. The sara sword works at the same speed as a whip and dscimmy. The sara sword also has the same stats as a whip making it the best weapon to train strength, Its only con is that it retails around 10.5m and not everyone has that kind of money to spend on a weapon.

Dscimmy - This is the next best thing to the sara sword, even with a defender you will be hitting lower than using the sara sword. Its main plus is the fact it only costs 100k so is cheep.

Dharoks - This is good and fast you can hit high but its not a given. Also you have to pay full attention using this method because of the spiders that poison and your pray drops, you die.

Dont train strength with a whip, its far to slow for xp.

Hope this helps

dragon scimmy all the way, it is like a whip but for strength...obviously it's not quite as good as a whip. but close to it

Hey, what is (in your opinion) the best weapon to train Strength fast with (in terms of xp/hour) ?

Here are some examples but you might add some if you prefer:

Dragon Scimitar
Dragon Longsword
Anchor
Sara Sword
Bandos Godsword
Dharoking (at lvl 167 monkeys)
Dragon Spear

Other: Please state.

Thank you ^_^

I suggest you use Verac's Flail if you're looking for a cheap, but reliable weapon to train your Strength level with.

This could get you up to 99 Strength if you train at Pest Control. Exactly what my friend did, and went from 80 to 99 in 34 days.

Take my advice on this one!

Joe
