Your pack is going to be very little and unfortunately you cannot buy gems with your gold. |

The restrictions are good to prevent gold spam/bots, but I don't like how there isn't an option to upgrade to a full account without buying the expansion. Doesn't matter for me but I'm sure some of my friends could benefit from that if they decide to join. |

I believe you can upgrade your account with the regular copy. Don't need to buy the expansion but many people will anyway. |
