Vinesweeper

What Vinesweeper is all About:
Vinesweeper is thought of as an easy thing to do while you wait for your patches to grow. Plant seeds then get free Farming xp? How great is that! The idea of the game is like minesweeper. Uncover points, and flag seeds for extra points.

Introduction:
Farmer Blinkin is in a bit of a pickle - his farm has turned into a cotton-tailed hell, with endless numbers of rabbits munching away at his prize crops. He wants to enlist the help of the farmers of the world to find his crops before the nose-twitching, ear-flopping, hoppity-hopping bunnies do too much damage.

Quest Requirements:
There are no quest requirements but if you want to buy the supercompost potion you need to do Garden of Tranquility.

Item Requirements:
All you need is a spade and between 20 000 and 50 000 coins, you will only need the coins really for buying back the flags that either the farmers take or the bunnies eat.

NOTE: You cannot take any Summoning familiars or pets into the Winkin's Farm.
NOTE: If you forget your spade you can buy one from Mrs. Winkin for 5gp

How to get to the Winkin’s Farm?:
Locate any Tool Leprechaun and right click on them, hit teleport, and teleport to the Winkin’s Farm.

Map of the place:
Here is a Map of what the area you can walk inside of Vinesweeper
Image

How do I get started?:
Image
Run south then west to in front of the house and talk to Farmer Blinkin. He will tell you all that you need to know if you click the “What is this place?”
Image

Out on the Field:
This game is just like Minesweepers but the “Mines” are Seeds. Go out anywhere in the field and dig up any patch. If you are lucky you will get a “Break” which is basically you dig up a patch and you get a big area that you can work with.
Image
The numbers go up from 1-8 so you can imagine how many flags can go near a number and how fast you have to be so that they all get dug up and no rabbits get to them. After using up all 10 flags, you can return to Farmer Blinkin to get back your flags. He'll give you the flags that successfully uncovered a seed back for free. You'll have to buy the rest for 500gp each (if you want all 10). When you dig up a patch there is a chance you will dig up an Ogleroot, these roots can by used on Rabbits to make them disappear and give you 30 Hunter xp in the process. You want the Farmers to jump in joy like this,
Image
and not lean on their spade like this,
Image
because that means that you got a flagged a seed so you can get more points and level in Farming faster.

Where should I dig on the Field?:
After you get a good break then you need to know where to dig so here is what you need to do. Dig up all spots that are connected to the break, even the diagonal ones. These are for sure not going to be seeds so get to them to get more points.
Image
The Green is where to dig and the Red is where not to dig because they possible are seeds and you don’t want to lose points.
If you dig up the green spots it will turn into this.
Image
You should be able to see some spots where a Seed can be. Flag those and protect them from the Rabbits.

How the Points work:
This is a table of how you can gain and lose points playing Vinesweepers:
Digging a Patch+1 point per patch
Digging up a seed-10 points
Flagging a seed(farmer collects)The points vary
Someone else flags a seedIf you're near them the points you earn will also vary
Flag a wrong spotFarmer keeps the flag
Rabbit eats your seedYou lose your flag

Mrs. Wilkson’s Store:
You can buy various amounts of seeds from Mrs. Wilkson’s that can be used in various different farming runs.

If you want to remove the excess spaces with the table, just put it all on one line like:
Code:
[tr][td]1[/td][td]Tomato Seed[/td][td]10[/td][td]2[/td][td]Sweetcorn Seed[/td][td]150[/td][/tr][tr][td]3[/td][td]Strawberry Seed[/td][td]165[/td][td]4[/td][td]Watermelon Seed[/td][td]680[/td][/tr][tr][td]5[/td][td]Guam Seed[/td][td]10[/td][td]6[/td][td]Marrentill Seed[/td][td]10[/td][/tr]

Instead of:
Code:
      [tr][td]1[/td][td]Tomato Seed[/td][td]10[/td][td]2[/td][td]Sweetcorn Seed[/td][td]150[/td][/tr]
      [tr][td]3[/td][td]Strawberry Seed[/td][td]165[/td][td]4[/td][td]Watermelon Seed[/td][td]680[/td][/tr]
      [tr][td]5[/td][td]Guam Seed[/td][td]10[/td][td]6[/td][td]Marrentill Seed[/td][td]10[/td][/tr]

Makes it harder for you to edit in the future but improves the layout.

Doesn't seem like a good minigame, but I'll use your guide to try it out sometime. Good guide.
