Cook's Assistant
The Lumbridge Castle cook is in a mess. It is the Duke of Lumbridge's birthday and the cook is making the cake.
He needs a lot of ingredients and doesn't have much time.
Requirements: None.
Items Needed: Egg, Bucket of Milk, Flour (all covered in the guide).
NPCs: Cook.
Difficulty: Easy.
Length: Short.
Reward: 1 quest point, 700 Cooking exp, access to the Cook's range. The Cook's range has a lower rate of burning food that you cook.
Start Point: Speak to the Cook in Lumbridge Castle.
- Start the quest by speaking to the Cook, on the ground floor of Lumbridge Castle (in the kitchen). Ask him what's wrong; he will inform you that it's the Duke's birthday and he does not have the required ingredients to bake the Duke a cake! You'll need to find him an Egg, some Flour and a Bucket of Milk.
- First off we'll get the flour. Grab the pot from the table in the kitchen...
... Go out of the castle and follow the road north. You will eventually get to a windmill. Have a look at the World Map if you can't find it. - Pick some grain from the field next to the windmill...
- Come out of the field and go north into the windmill.
- Go upstairs twice (to the top floor) and use your grain on the hopper. Operate the hopper to make the flour...
- ... And go right back downstairs to collect it.
- Next we'll get the egg. Follow the road south back the way you came and cross the bridge to the east. Head north and you'll soon find a chicken farm. The eggs should be fairly obvious amongst the chickens...
- Before leaving for the milk, collect a bucket from the house on the farm.
- Go back out on to the road, south a bit, and east into the paddock home to lots of cows. Look around for a Dairy Cow - when you've found one, milk it by clicking on it. Your bucket will fill with the milk you collect.
- Return to Lumbridge and collect your reward from the grateful Cook!
