Skillers of Diversity was founded early December 2009 by Sir Joey and Redhead Rush. Their aim was to develop a clan that could one day rise above them all; a clan revered for its majesty and fame.
Soon after, Alexinese was invited into the clan as an Administrator to help develop the clan with his magnificent ideas, before being appointed Leader, to run the quickly growing clan alongside founders Readhead Rush and Sir Joey.
By New Years Day, the clan had become a stable community of many players. A Recruitment Drive was also conducted, which saw the acceptance of 10 more members. Since then, many more have joined the Skillers of Diversity, their spirit, their ideas, and their warm, friendly attitude has improved the clan's community, making it one of the most welcoming atmospheres seen in a clan.

Our Clan Members are accepted based on their levels, as we are a Skilling clan. To be accepted, you will require the following:

Two level 70+ skills or one 99.
1000+ Total level.

Whilst in the clan, we also have a few conditions that should be met by our members.

Attend 3 events per month minimum (we host many a week in all time zones).
Post on our home forums 8 times a month or 5 times on our home forums & 5 times on our RuneScape thread (we have a general discussion thread for easy posting).

Many clans revolve around obedience, rules, and a hierarchy. We, on the other hand, are a loving, welcoming community of skillers, determined to help those who join us to achieve the best they possibly can. If you're looking for a warm, friendly, welcoming clan, you've found the right place!

As with any clan, we run Events for all to participate in. Every week there is an event for everyone – no-one is left out of the fun! We hold a variety of events; stretching from mini-Games, to Player vs. Monster trips (GWD and KBD being chief among these), to community events such as house parties and recruitment marches.
Being a skilling clan, we also hold Skilling Team events and Skilling Sessions twice a month.

Our Skilling Teams and Skilling Sessions consist of the following:
They are voluntary; it is not a requirement to participate in them. We will hold two skilling sessions a month; one on the first week of the month, and the second on the third week of the month. One week before the Skilling Teams session begins, the Leaders will poll 5 random skills. Everyone who plans on participating can vote on which skill they would like to train, however you must sign up before voting on the skill. Once you have signed up, there is no turning back unless you are absent on leave. Basically, you are paired up with a partner and you two or possibly three will work on the chosen skill. You will be given a certain time to start and a certain time to end. Which ever team gains the most experience receives an award, as the person with the most experience overall receives an award. However, if you fail to participate in the Skilling team session without a request of absence and therefore leaving your assigned skiller alone, you will be suspended for the next two skilling sessions. There is more information about this on our home forums.

Once you join, you will be assigned a mentor, who will guide you through everything you need to know. After a 10 day period your mentor will go on to help other members, by then we hope to see you fully informed on the basics of the clan. Remember though, that after this 10 day period is over, you are not alone. Any and every member of the clan will answer your questions about the clan.

But why should you join the Skillers of Diversity?

Well, we as a clan only want what's best for our members, to enjoy playing RuneScape, to meet people, and share advice with one another. In a sense we want to create a loving RuneScape family.

We would like to announce that we are a G rated clan, and will not tolerate any form of disruptive behaviour. We do not tolerate swearing or cursing in any form, abbreviated or not, as we have a member base consisting of a many ages. We are not against multi-clanning, but we do not want to hear about other clans whilst in our Clan Chat, or on our Boards. And as with many clans, we want our members to obey all of the rules and regulations set out by Jagex for RuneScape. We consider breaking one of these rules as breaking one of our own.

We hope to see you soon. We would like to thank you for reading this, and we hope this is the right clan for you! The link to the boards, where you need to apply is: http://excoboard.com/Skillers_Of_Diversity
