You guys should really look into putting this site up on the 3 mentioned and linking them to this site for example, a like button at the top of the page or something.

There is a link to the RsBandB Staff Twitter on the sidebar of the homepage with all the other links.

The RsBandB Staff youtube channel is largely inactive so I don't see much use in that.

Also I don't really think there is a need for a Facebook page for this site, but that's just me.

I would love to help out in the Youtube page. That could be really cool.

Adding a like button to every page, or including the popular social buttons could help.

One click to like, to follow, to +1 would mean that the person is subscribed to anything the staff can post on these pages, and from there they could interact, reshare, or unfollow. It would also broadcast to all of their contacts their interest in the site, citing their 'Like' for a particular Informer article, Update episode, or site utility.

When I want to share a link to all of my facebook friends, I'd much rather click the Like button on a page than copying and pasting the URL, and typing in the anti-spam CAPTCHA that follows.

I think those gadgets add clutter and make pages look bad. There are sites that are much more popular than us that have those gadgets on them with counts that are still at 0 often.

For people who like to share content like that, why are browser extensions that provide that functionality not suitable?

Haven't tried it out, but this looks like what Mike is talking about
