This month we've got a bit of news to discuss but first we'll Inform everyone of what we've all been up to. JasonC opened up the month with a dissection of the Mod MMG's news post on RuneScape Micro-Payments discussing what MMG nailed on the head and what was missed. Jason lightened the mood with a comical article discussing the first of 15 Reasons Not to do a Quest in RuneScape. Finally, discussing perhaps the most anticipated update of the month Alex talked about Botany Bay and whether or not its presentation is Extermination of Entertainment.

I wrote another of my hybrid articles combining both Tech and RuneScape, in particular what RuneScape for a Tablet might look like. Our gaming article of the month was a review of Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

Our September Skill of The Month contest has also ended. Thelion777 gained an astounding 10 million Thieving experience. Congratulations!

Rounding out the top 5 was Bryan B with roughly 2.1 million experience, Flash with 1.7, Rodsay with 1.3, and Jason B with just over 1 million. Good job to all competitors and good luck with the Summoning contest!

Turning to Informer related news it is regrettable to report that both Tim and Asa have left Informer. We wish them well in their future endeavours and you can find their past articles in our archives.

With these two departures we are opening up applications for Informer. We're looking for at least one RuneScape writer and one gaming writer. If you're reading this and you've always wanted to join Informer you can find out how to do so in this forum topic. Applications will run for roughly three weeks and if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us!

See you all next month and send those applications in :).
