Post subject:  This is weird...

So, normal logs have been skyrocketing in price in the last 30 days, but I don't know why.
They're up to 195 now, and they will be over 200 each by tomorrow.
Why are they so expensive?

Regular logs are more time consuming to cut because you only get 1 per tree (or 2 with seers headband) and are not good experience.

If someone is doing construction, they could be buying them to make planks. Possible it could be being merchanted. Also possible someone is doing firemaking. Of all those, I think merchanting is the most likely explanation. Since they aren't as numerous as willows and maples, it's not that hard to control the supply and merchant it.

Because there are no massive swarms of f2p bots trying to manage 60 woodcutting and cutting normal/oaks in the process for money.
