...I picked up a 35-day member card along with my groceries.
I went ahead and changed my character's name and decided to play a green female character for a bit.

Now, with ~1000x more content, what are best things in members to check out first?
I also want to get 1000 total level sometime in the month too, what are the best member ways to train skills?

soul wars

it is triple day for the next 2-3 hours

also go for slayer you'll get quite a bit of combat experience from it.

Don't even try Soul Wars right now. 3x is so laggy it's not worth it.
And it's not very fast exp on regular zeals, but at least it can be more fun than sitting at spiders or bandits.
Slayer is a fun way for combat exp, because you don't sit in 1 area the whole time, you get a variety of creatures to kill.

well hard, you shouldn't have stood in w44 or 145. almost every world had some kind of soul war going on. i got a prayer lvl from it

i joined a clan and we went from 44 to 39, 66 all the way to 146. we just kept jumping around.

now without bots, we're stuck with 60 people per team

I would say do as many of the easy quests as you can, as fast as you can. The manual has them categorised by difficulty so copy the list into a notepad for ease.

Also do the tasks that give you the useful rewards, like Explorer ring, Varrock Platebody, Seers Headband, Ardy cape, Karamja gloves and Relekka boots.

Not even a week and I'd say I made pretty good progress. Got two dragon weapons and lots of other nice member-y items that I'm using now. Gonna head for 1000 total while explore more of the members world.
Now to somehow get 5m because I want a dragon chainbody.

Try farming. It can be pretty fun.
