I'm about to get 90 Woodcutting. I've been cutting Yews from 85 (to get both XP and money) and was wondering whether I should move onto Magics because it's more XP and money, even though it's slower.

Cheers.

If you just want 99... go to Ivy and don't waste your time. Cutting magics and yews isn't even a good money method, but if you realllllly want to do that, just go ahead and cut magics.

I feel that yews r faster money if u cut in catherby. Magic trees r too crowded, and dissapear too quickly.

Dunno what's faster money but if you're going to do it for money then do magics if they're faster. Yews would be an xp/money infusion I guess.

But I dunno why anyone would go for 99 woodcutting not on ivy. Yeah you get money, but the worth of GP is worth a lot less than it was. 10M is the new 1M.

It's not funny, its pathetic and if you report them they most likely wont get banned.

Magic trees are the way to go for money and training. Wear your lumberjack and get the bonus exp from that, and you're good.

I'd train on ivy for fast xp as well as the occasional bird nest drops that could really add up by the time you're 99. I think I was able to get around 5m in seeds and the nest from 76-99 Woodcutting.

Magics are very, very slow even in the high levels. Yews, for money, has been likened to less than that of picking flax. Magics are obviously slightly more expensive than yews but they won't give you enough logs per hour (if i remember correctly, i used to get a bag every 12-15 minutes on thedraken way back in the day over by Lletya and using crystal teleports. But back then there wasn't a bot problem as well. For money through woodcutting, there's mahogany logs. They're in high demand for high level construction and the bots don't get to them (as often) due to the trading sticks requirement, AND you'll get a lot of them. I'd suggest this, but it is somewhat a hassle to get them banked. Just buy a ******* of trading sticks and go there for your monetary needs.
