Hey guys!

u must know how hard and sometimes boring it is to skill a level to 99. at the beginning it goes pretty fast, but around 60 it goes slower and slower.
right now im 78 strength and my goal is to get 99. Im killing giant spiders everyday. Its kinda good for xp. i get around 20 to 25 k xp per hour.
But still. Im kinda thinking that this is going too slow. right now im skilling a level each few days, and its gonna take over 3 months if i go on like this.
Ive heard on the net about people getting 99 strength in just one month!!!!

Any advice on how i can get it go faster??? Maybe im not training at the right place?? Or the right monsters :/

Spiders are probably the best place for xp in f2p. You could also try Ankous if you wanted to make some money.

if your really determined to get 99 in any skill (strength in your case) just pay the **** 5 bucks for one month and you can lvl like 2x faster.
get god cape and go kill bandits, watch a movie on your computer and every couple minutes look at your character and feed him food, other than that. it will train for you

not everybody has the choice of becoming a members.

could go into the wild to the hob goblin mine. since they auto attack, it's somewhat easy to leave them be. just 2 item to be safe and even if you die they won't get anything.

What I suggest is get your best f2p armor set up, and go into security stronghold and test out the various monsters in there and see what one is best for you, exp wise, and how long you can stay in there.

Sorry but Giant Spiders are the best :l Ankous and Cockroaches are slower. Maybe invest in Strength Pots?

Short answer: You don't. You shouldn't get 99 strength in F2P.

Getting any 99's in F2P is against the nature of the game. The F2P version is supposed to be more like a demo than anything. It will be excruciatingly slow using your rune scimitar (is that still the best F2P weapon?) to get to 99 in any of the melee stats. You're supposed to get past the level for rune and then buy the full version of the game.

Regardless of what you think F2p is for, this does not answer his question, and if you don't answer the question then why post? And who are you to say what the nature of the game is, people can play the game anyway they want to. Lastly F2p is more like the basic game with P2p as an expansion.

I was free to play for a long time, because i wasn't able to buy members, so lay off him, i never did giant spiders i usually just did cockroach soldiers when i was f2p.

I am now F2P and a good training spot is at Karamja Volcano Dungeon on the Skeletons level 45 or something. Can't remember now. You never have to go to bank, because you can take your lobster pot and fish lobsters for food on the docks :)

You should go for a different 99 like firemaking or cooking, it would be much faster and your xp/hr wouldn't be that bad.

99 str in f2p can be just as fast as members if you do it right- Bad IE, but i was killing lvl cows in members the other day - and i was hitting 80 for 42 exp ever hit- only missed about 5% ish - this turns out to be great xp per hour - so find a low lvl beasty and murder them over and over and over and over! but this will numb your mind before you ever get to 99! so dont try just for 99 str! just remember to always use your scimitar and always be slashing! then find other things to do and your str will naturally rise- as far as one month! thats prob ppl/someone botting- something you should never do if you want to keep your account active.

yeah spiders are probably the best method,I have 75 defense so i can stay there a pretty long time,a higher defense means you can stay there longer,which means yo can get more xp/hr.But i would say keep doing what your doing,i like to just have like small goals,such as level 80 str.Then ill say hmm i think ill go for 85,so i still feel accomplished,even though i'm really just getting 99.
