I say Herblore, just because I like the look of the Trimmed Herblore cape much more then the Prayer cape.

I have been struggling with this decision for quite some time now and I need your guys' opinion to help influence my final decision. I think that both of the skill capes are very nice, if not the best out of all of them. However, that's not what it's entirely about. I think it would be strategic and smart to base this decision also on long-term benefits; which skill will be more useful after getting level 99 in it? Two things that come off the top of my head for 99 prayer are: - Turmoil - Soul Split Likewise, 99 herblore allows you to make some very nice potions such as extreme prayer potions, overloads, recover special potions, etc. I know it would probably be best to just try to get 95 prayer and 96 herblore, but I really would like to get a skill cape for one of them. The reason why I would get 99 prayer is because I am ultimately going for level 138 combat and this will help towards that long-term goal. On the other hand, with 99 herblore I can make the best potions in the game that will help me for miscellaneous bosses and intense training, among other various things as well. One possibility that I have thought about is getting 99 prayer and use the rest of my cash to get 91 or 93 herblore. Then, I would assist people on a daily basis (via effigies) until level 99. It would be a long process but I know I have the patience for it considering that I have currently assisted 5.4M xp in crafting with effigies. All in all, I am stumped and don't know which 99 I should commit to. That is why I am asking you, rsbandb, which one would you choose? Thanks much. |

Prayer capes are probably the best looking one in the game. So, if looks is what you want, Prayer it is. I would go for prayer because I find it more of a respectable skill than Herblore,and more useful. Higher prayer last longer, and give you more benefits when training. I think 99 Prayer + Super sets will make you better off. |

I think you should get 95 + 96 respectively, that way you get the benefits of both without paying a ton more just for the cape. |

True, but as I mentioned before I really want to get a skill cape for one of them. Unfortunately, I can't afford to get lvl 99 in both of them yet. I am leaning more towards prayer now, though. Then, I should have enough to buy 91 herblore afterwards. |

I think 99 Prayer + Super sets will make you better off. im with djinn here.. 99 prayer and the prayer points are very easy to restore. Although you may make 1k-2k overloads on your way to 99 those will only last so long until you'll have to make more. Another thought is: overloads are mainly used for boss monsters (or were you can make >100k/5 minutes). Turmoil can be used at alot of places to speed up a kill, or you can flash some soul split while in combat if your needing some healing. |

Prayer cape an emote are definitely one of the best in the game, so from just wanting a cape, Prayer for sure

go prayerl. when bonus weekend comes around again, you can do herblore like crazy and save a lot more money. |

i would personally say prayer, because once u get turmoil u can use it forever, u need to keep making overloads

Yeah I chose to go with prayer. Currently 85/99 so I'm getting there slowly. I have all of the bones I need as well. |

Yeah I said prayer cause you will have more prayer points,so your prayers will last longer.If your doing god-wars or something you wont have to pot up as much.Where as herblore you just kinda spend your bank and get a cape IMO |
