I'm in the process of writing a world generator suite for Minecraft. I wanted to get some feedback, as well as show it off a bit. This is just one of several generators included, named "hilly".

It looks interesting but kind of plain, not too much different from the regular world generator. I looked at the wiki and saw its options, but it doesn't strike me as something that makes me go "whoa." Nonetheless it seems pretty decent and does a good job of making hills. |

Looks quite nice, although I think if lots of those caverns like in the first picture on the left, were generated, wandering about could get reaaaally frustrating. |

There are many different Seeds. All of which are very similar and doesn't really effect anything. playing game wise.. so what's the point? just pop up random. I'd play it. |
