Felt like sharing ^.^ The Camel and the Cabbage - by Ylee After the fall of Zaros many Mahjarrat returned to their homes in the sands. Akthanakos returned to the Ugthanatos to find a disturbing discovery; famine had struck and the Ugthanatos population was at an all time low, some of which had resorted to cannibalism to survive. Seeing no other options Akthanakos turned to the one god he knew could help; a being not of anima but of nutrition. Brassica Prime. Akthanakos knew little of the god of nutrition apart from that Zaros regarded him as powerful and that his followers were cabbages. Having acquired an artifact that functioned similar to his camulet from a strange woman living on a farm near Senntisten with a fascination for vegetables, Akthanakos arranged a meeting with the leader of a colony of cabbages to the west. The “Big Leaf” as he was called, told Akthanakos that if he desired an audience with Brassica he must kick the colony's prince, “Little Leaf”, to the continents edge. With reluctance and confusion Akthanakos kicked Little Leaf over mountains and through a swamp until they reached a tropical beach. Upon reaching the beach Akthanakos was greeted by Brassica. After giving Little Leaf a paper crown to return to his people with Brassica listened to Akthanakos beg for a food source for his beloved Ugthanatos. Brassica stated that cabbages could not grow in the desert sun, but he had the seeds for a special cabbage that could be grown underground. To this day, the Ugthanatos survive off purple cabbages. |

I hope your book is chosen! I want to write one but I have never been good at those sort of things. |
