I'm getting rather tired of new items on squeal every week too.

There must be lots of people buying spins for them to keep doing it. Hopefully we'll begin to see something that all that extra money is going towards with the release of RuneScape 3 -- and hopefully a lot more quests.

I purchased a cheap skin from the Solomon store and so many people asked where I got my weapon from. People just don't look.

That's one thing I don't like about their cosmetic system. You're supposed to be able to identify people's gear by how they look.

More than likely the money and a good chunk of dev time is going towards the transformers MMO. They said it'd have a 2013 launch. Can't imagine they'd fail a fourth(third?) time at launching a new mmo. :oops:

Is this an aptly named weekend! Because at the moment Jagex staff aint bringing home the bacon. Sad, but simply couldn't resist. A side effect of giving up on logging on for a while. As I don't seem to manage more than 5 minutes.

There are waaaaaay too many cosmetic items being introduced into the game via SoF. It makes those items so valueless.

Plus not to mention it fills up your bank with junk. Yes you can destroy the items, but still... they're utterly useless and I'm tired of getting lame cosmetic stuff from the Squeal instead of xp lamps or pendants.

People buy the spins and hope they get those cosmetic items, just like in TF2 or Dota 2, they don't help you in any way but people see a rare item and something in their head clicks into a mode that they want to get it, no matter the cost (for some people).

I may contradict myself, however I really like this new graphical update! They've put a lot of work into it, despite our complaining about irrelevant SoF things

There are probably more playing that than EoC unfortunately. They are focusing on so many things at once, they can't cope with doing it all. They're losing money, as you say, sacking staff and they will ultimately probably fail another time with the release of the MMO, which will be more than likely a let down.

Jagex is putting loads of work into RuneScape still, but it seems to be focused in the wrong areas. Ok, redoing many of the music tracks is nice, but why? And how many times are they going to update the graphics of the same areas? The engine updates should be nice, but you're right, that's coming from development on their other games.
